Personal Care Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to clients in their own homes.

About the Role
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, following a personalized care plan.
  • Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses to deliver client-specific care, including personal hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and more.
  • Identify client care needs and work closely with the client's care team to ensure holistic care.
Requirements
  • Certification in Aged Care or Disability (or equivalent).
  • Current First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling certifications.
  • A roadworthy and insured vehicle with a current driver's license.
  • Federal Police Clearance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with empathy for elderly clients.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards for home care.
Preferred Skills
  • Understanding of person-centered care.
  • Multilingual abilities are an asset.
