Café Expert

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a café expert.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about coffee and has exceptional communication skills to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for customers, ensuring outstanding service and delivering high-quality beverages consistently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience and maintain a high level of quality in all products
  • Develop and maintain a productive and positive work environment that encourages teamwork and motivates staff
  • Help maintain and clean equipment to ensure smooth operation of the café
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints efficiently
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and ensure cleanliness and organization of the café area
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a barista, preferably in a specialty coffee shop
  • Must have an RSA certification
  • Excellent knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and latte art
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers and motivate the team
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
