Job Opportunity

This is a chance to take on a key role in providing medical support to an international client base. You will work as part of a nursing-led team, delivering front-line telephonic triage and offering medical advice, assessment, support, and recommendations to patients and clients in various international settings.

Responsibilities:
  • You will deliver front-line telephonic triage for a global client base.
  • You will provide medical advice, assessment, support, and recommendations by speaking directly to patients and clients in international settings.
  • You will liaise with international medical professionals to obtain medical assessments for patients who are hospitalised or being treated overseas.
  • You will assess standards of care and provide guidance on travel following illness or injury.
  • You will arrange medical evacuations and repatriations.
Working Conditions:

You will work 3-4 shifts per fortnight on a 7-day rotating roster between 7am–10pm (12-hour shifts). Telehealth and case management will be conducted within an international organisation with extensive structured training and induction provided.

Requirements:
  • You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital nursing as a registered nurse.
  • You must hold Australian Nursing Registration without any conditions.
  • Experience in Paediatrics, Midwifery, Emergency, Critical Care, RN Paramedic, GP Nurse, Travel Health, Occupational Health, Rural/Remote Nursing, Cruise Ships, or Military nursing is advantageous.
  • You must be proficient in Word and Excel.
  • You must have strong English communication skills.
  • You must have full working rights in Australia.
