**Job Opportunity**

Sunnybank Private Hospital is seeking a Clinical Coder for an on-going role. Working within the Health Information Services Department, this role is dedicated to quality clinical coding and collaborating closely with clinicians.

  • Abstracting relevant information from patient records and assigning accurate codes.
  • Initiating queries as required to clarify documentation and support code assignment.

As a skilled Clinical Coder, you will work in a fast-paced team environment with excellent attention to detail and good communication skills. Your experience in identifying discrepancies between clinical information systems and patient records will enable you to contribute valuable insights to the team.

**Requirements**

  • A nationally recognised certificate in ICD-10-AM Coding and Classification.
  • Experience in coding using ICD-10-AM, ACHI & ACS.
  • Proficiency in using 3M Codefinder and Turbocoder.
