About the Role:
- Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with key customers to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Contract Negotiation: Develop and execute negotiation strategies to drive business growth and secure new contracts.
- Drafting and Review: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to draft and review contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Customer Relationship: Foster strong relationships with key customers to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure all contractual obligations are met, and legal requirements are complied with.
- Contract Amendments: Manage contract amendments, renewals, and terminations to minimize disruptions and optimize outcomes.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to align contract management with business objectives.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor contract performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts, ensuring the organization's interests are protected.
- Reporting: Provide regular reporting on contract status, performance, and risk to senior management.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to inform contract negotiations and strategy.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales and revenue growth through effective contract management and negotiation.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives, including contract management and negotiation.
Your Qualifications:
- Recent relevant experience as a Contract Manager or in a similar role in business development of industrial equipment based upon strategic relationships.
- Good knowledge of commercial negotiations and dealings, including contract laws, regulations, or best practices.
- Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Previous experience leading people (F2F and remote).
- Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
- A customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering outstanding service.
- Good understanding of Supply Chain processes and principles.
- Ability to interpret and comprehend basic financial data.
- Working knowledge of the resources sector and large industrial clientele.
