Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Development Professional to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for supporting young people aged 15-18 who are experiencing homelessness.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications or progress toward a Certificate III in Community Services or Youth Work, as well as experience working with young people and knowledge of the youth homelessness sector.

About the Role
  • Support young people in developing essential life skills, such as budgeting, cooking, and cleaning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individual support plans and programs.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment, responding appropriately to challenging behaviors and critical situations.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications or progress toward a Certificate III in Community Services or Youth Work.
  • Experience working with young people and knowledge of the youth homelessness sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A commitment to social change and supporting marginalized communities.
