ADF Rehabilitation Consultant Job Description

The role of ADF Rehabilitation Consultant involves providing support to personnel who have sustained a physical and/or psychological injury. This unique position allows professionals to apply their clinical reasoning skills to facilitate the recovery and function of clients.

This is an exceptional opportunity for experts in occupational health, injury management, and safety to work with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the rehabilitation process. The consultant will be responsible for assessing clients, developing rehabilitation plans, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing clients using functional capacity evaluations, worksite assessments, ergonomic evaluations, or activities of daily living assessments.
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring rehabilitation plans in collaboration with medical specialists, treatment providers, and allied health professionals.
Requirements:
  • Current unrestricted registration or membership with relevant industry bodies (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA, or AASW).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy, or Social Work.
  • Australian Citizenship.
