Child Mental Health Specialist

Specialized mental health services are designed to provide comprehensive care for children and young people with severe and complex mental health problems.
A key feature of these services is the multidisciplinary approach, which involves collaboration among healthcare professionals from various disciplines to ensure a holistic treatment plan.
This approach enables healthcare providers to address the unique needs of each child or young person, taking into account their individual circumstances, medical history, and family dynamics.
The services also focus on providing psycho-social support to families and caregivers, helping them navigate the challenges of caring for a child or young person with complex mental health needs.
Requirements- Mandatory qualifications in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Speech Pathology, or Social Work.
- Proof of registration (if applicable).
- Possession of a class C driver's license.
As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-level specialist mental health services to optimize psycho-social outcomes for children and young people with severe and complex mental health problems and disorders, and their families and carers.
