Job Summary

The Residential Life Coordinator plays a pivotal role in fostering residential life within a student accommodation environment.

This dynamic position requires exceptional leadership and support skills, with the ability to design, develop, implement, and manage community programs.

As a key member of the team, you will provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders, while also being an active participant in emergency response situations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To lead and support the Residential Life Program, providing guidance and direction to team members as needed.
  • To assist the Residential Life Manager in developing and implementing the Community Spirit Program, ensuring its effective management and delivery.
  • To maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • To assist in the recruitment, training, and management of the Residential Advisor team, ensuring their optimal performance and development.
  • To monitor resident wellbeing and provide necessary support, promoting a safe and inclusive living environment.
Key Requirements:
  • Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
  • A valid National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
  • A Working with Children's Check.
  • Wellbeing and mental health literacy.
  • Previous experience in event planning and budgeting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
  • High-level competency in software packages, including Microsoft Publisher, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop new ideas and deliver events.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Research and develop evidence-based programs and policies.
