About the Opportunity

The Inland Rail project is seeking a highly skilled professional to support the delivery team in various aspects of project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and coordinating design requirements, as well as ensuring the safe and compliant delivery of project works.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with waivers and technical optioneering.
  • Facilitating the coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Prioritizing project delivery schedules and ensuring planning requirements are met.
  • Monitoring and reporting on consultant and contractor performance.
  • Coordinating across multiple teams to ensure a consistent approach to planning and documentation.
  • Supporting the establishment and administration of property and access agreements.
  • Monitoring progress and assisting in the development of works and documentation.
  • Preparing documentation, correspondence, and submissions for approvals.

To succeed in this role, you should possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

In addition to these skills, the following qualifications and experience are highly regarded:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in brownfield rail, utilities, or road projects.
  • Experience working with third-party agreements and managing contracts.
  • Organized work approach and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of contractor management practices and operational readiness processes.
