About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Privacy Risk Manager to join our team at Allianz Australia Services Pty Ltd. As a key member of our Risk and Compliance Division, you will be responsible for building a strategic and comprehensive privacy risk assessment and controls monitoring program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our Group Risk and Compliance team to design, implement, and maintain a privacy risk management framework that enables Divisions to maintain effective privacy controls and manage privacy complaints and breaches.
  • Promote information privacy awareness and maturity uplift across the organisation, including the development of key privacy training materials and facilitating enhanced training to key functions.
  • Support the continuous improvement and strengthening of key privacy standards and controls across divisions, leveraging extensive knowledge of industry best practice and Group policies.

About You

  • Significant experience within a senior privacy or data protection role acquired in a complex, matrixed financial services organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and managing privacy programs and uplifting organisational maturity in this area.
  • Highly developed analytical skills, demonstrating the capability to analyse and interpret complex information from a broad range of sources and to present findings in a clear and compelling manner.
