The role of Open Space Manager will provide strategic leadership to deliver high-quality, sustainable outcomes in parks maintenance, horticulture, arboriculture and open space planning and design.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects that align with community needs and Council's strategic vision.
- Oversee the development of open spaces that reflect the community's values and aspirations.
- Champion innovation and excellence in open space planning and service delivery.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure open space outcomes are aligned with Council's goals.
- Advanced qualification in a relevant field such as environmental science or urban design.
- Proven experience leading teams across parks, gardens and open space portfolios.
- Strong management capabilities including financial, contract and operational management.
- Expert knowledge of horticulture, arboriculture, conservation planning and open space design frameworks.
