Job Title: Open Space Planning LeaderAbout the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional leader to head up our Open Space Planning team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day and long-term planning functions of the team.

  • Provide leadership in mentoring and developing staff within the Open Space Planning team so that staff are motivated, well-advised, and empowered to deliver identified outcomes and team targets.
  • Deliver excellent open space planning and urban design outcomes through the provision of professional, well-considered, and consistent advice and decision-making in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement open space policy that addresses landscape design and urban design issues in the built and natural environments.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated leadership and management skills, high-level project management experience in the planning, design, and delivery of urban design and open space projects, as well as strategic open space-related matters.

You will also possess strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to engage with the community, collaborate within a close-knit team, and work independently.
