Enhancing Resident Wellbeing through Creative Activities

We are seeking an experienced and creative individual to provide exceptional leisure and lifestyle activities for our residents at Lansdowne Gardens, a premier aged care residence in Sydney.
About the Role:
- Assist in the organisation and implementation of leisure and lifestyle activities for residents
- Improve the quality of life for residents
- Orientate families, carers and friends into everyday life for residents
- Integrate Lansdowne Gardens into the wider local community
About You:
- Experienced and energetic individual with demonstrated knowledge and skills in contemporary diversionary therapy services
- Commitment to delivering an exceptional level of customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with highly effective verbal and written communication skills
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle is essential
- Cert III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care), highly regarded
- Commitment to delivering an exceptional level of service
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in contemporary aged care services
- Sound understanding and commitment to person-centred care
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with regulatory compliance and quality improvement ideal
- Aged care experience is required, preferably in Leisure & Lifestyle
