Network Infrastructure Specialist

The role involves implementing changes and upgrades to the network infrastructure according to business priorities. This ensures that all changes adhere to set standards and follow a philosophy of consolidation and amalgamation where feasible.

This is a hands-on technical position that requires collaboration with the senior architect to support long-term strategic planning for the network infrastructure. The aim is to migrate systems to the cloud, maintain business processes and continuity, and align with organisational goals.

During busy periods, you will assist the Help Desk and participate in an after-hours support roster.

  • You will work across a broad network stack, including LAN, WAN, WiFi, core and edge switching, firewalls, routing, and VPNs.
  • You will deliver end-to-end projects, from design and planning through to implementation, testing, and handover.

We are seeking a skilled professional who has:

  • Degree-qualified in a related discipline (Essential)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in network infrastructure (Essential)
  • Significant IT industry knowledge (Essential)
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of systems infrastructure (Essential)
  • Project Management qualifications (Desirable)
