Strategic Partnership Lead

We are seeking a skilled relationship-builder to lead strategic collaboration across different sectors to ensure the Connect to Work programme is implemented and successfully maintained.



About This Opportunity
New Employment Programme Launched

The Council is developing and launching a Cumbria-wide programme to support people into work as part of the government's Get Britain Working strategy.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with partners including local authorities, VCSE organisations, education and training providers, health partners, and employers.
  • Ensure the Connect to Work programme aligns with wider local strategies.
  • Act as the main point of contact for key stakeholders.
  • Lead on the operational and technical integration of Connect to Work with other relevant services and programmes across Cumbria.
