About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Administration Manager to oversee our administration team within a new cancer treatment facility. This position is essential for ensuring exceptional service delivery to our patients, medical professionals, and clinical staff. The Administration Manager will work closely with various departments and will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks including team leadership, billing processes, data management, scheduling, site upkeep, and staff training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a welcoming and secure environment for all stakeholders, including patients and healthcare providers.
  • Supervise and mentor the administration team, providing continuous training and support.
  • Coordinate patient appointments and manage reception services efficiently.
  • Assist in the recruitment process for the administration team.
  • Handle Medicare and private billing with precision and adherence to regulations.
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records while upholding privacy standards.
  • Engage in facility accreditation processes and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Manage resources effectively to meet key performance indicators under the guidance of the Site Manager.
  • Collaborate with other site leaders to ensure high-quality patient care.

You will play a crucial role in managing daily administrative functions and may provide support across various locations.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in leading a team to deliver high-quality service to patients or clients.
  • Comprehensive understanding of health administration in a medical environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing workloads effectively.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Experience in training and developing team members to meet operational goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with patients and stakeholders.
  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of healthcare legislative requirements is advantageous.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in management are preferred.
