This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented Financial Collector to join a dynamic finance team near Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and reconcile daily customer payments accurately
- Regularly review debtor accounts and flag potential risks
- Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices while maintaining strong customer relationships
- Manage credit applications and conduct reference checks
- Set up new customer accounts following credit approval
- Evaluate credit limits periodically and make recommendations
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and manage a shared collections inbox
- Maintain accurate financial data and ensure confidentiality of customer information
- Work closely with sales account managers to provide actionable customer activity reports
- Assist with improving systems and streamlining credit processes
About You:
- At least 2 years' experience in a credit control or financial role
- Familiarity with ERP software
- Solid knowledge of financial processes and principles
- Certificate IV in Accounting (or equivalent qualification) is highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Analytical mindset with experience compiling reports and interpreting financial data
- Effective time management and the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines
- A team player with a positive, solutions-focused attitude
Please note the following requirements:
- Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Pronto ERP certification preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role essential
