We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and reconciling daily customer payments, reviewing debtor accounts, and following up on outstanding invoices while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately under pressure. You will also have experience with credit control procedures, collections management, and financial data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile daily customer payments in a timely and accurate manner

  • Review debtor accounts regularly to identify potential risks and take corrective action

  • Follow up on outstanding invoices proactively while preserving strong customer relationships

  • Manage credit applications, conduct reference checks, and set up new customer accounts after credit approval

  • Evaluate credit limits periodically and make recommendations as needed

  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries and manage a shared collections inbox

  • Maintain accurate financial data and ensure confidentiality of customer information
