Collections and Debt Resolution Officer

We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Collections and Debt Resolution Officer. This position requires a unique blend of sales, financial management, and customer service expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle enquiries from hardship/debt management customers with empathy and professionalism.
  • Making soft collection calls to resolve queries regarding formal and informal debt management options.
  • Evaluate the eligibility and suitability of a debt agreement for our clients.
  • Conduct thorough consults with clients regarding their financial information.
  • Negotiate with creditors on behalf of clients in relation to their debts.
  • Prepare Debt Agreement proposals.
  • General administration tasks.
Requirements
  • Experience in sales of a financial product or service.
  • Ideal experience within the insolvency industry.
  • A working knowledge of key regulatory and compliance standards in relation to credit provision and debt collection (desired but not essential).
  • Excellent work ethic.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Target driven with a focus on reaching and exceeding KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
