Job Summary

As an Impairment Benefits Specialist, you will play a vital role in guiding individuals towards optimal health and wellbeing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage impairment benefit claims by reviewing clinical information, arranging assessments, issuing decisions, and processing lump sum entitlements.
  • Attend conciliation conferences and internal/external training courses to update technical knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience within the Worker's Compensation Industry, specifically in Impairment Benefits or claims management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills to make informed decisions.
  • Industry-specific qualifications such as VWA and TAC Industry Training Programs are highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
