Job Title: Social Housing Fund Manager

The Social Housing Fund Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of this impactful service. This leadership position involves overseeing statewide operations, ensuring key contractual obligations are fulfilled, and managing the overarching Social Housing Fund program to achieve its goals.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and expand the program, inspire a committed team, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Coordination: Implement the Strategic Plan within the Social Housing Fund team, providing supervision, coordination, and leadership to workers across the state.
  • Quality & Compliance: Build and maintain high standards aligned to contracts and sector accreditation indicators. Ensure reporting and contractual obligations are met within deadlines.
  • Community Engagement: Support positive partnerships between tenants, local organisations, and the broader community, promoting an inclusive, accessible environment.
  • Advocacy: Promote the Social Housing tenancy support model, address service gaps, and liaise with volunteer coordinators to support tenant households and community development.
  • Reporting & Communication: Provide timely updates, accurate information, and transparent communication through line management reporting requirements.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience or qualifications in Community Housing, Case Management, or Human Services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate integrity and drive.
  • Flexibility, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Driver's License + Willingness to travel as needed to meet program requirements.
