
Supportive Leadership for Neurodivergent Students

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurodivergent Hub Coordinator to lead the strategic development and operational coordination of our Neurodivergent Hub.
The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering academic success, community, and meaningful inclusion for neurodivergent students.
Key responsibilities include leading program development, ensuring alignment with university goals, creating high-impact initiatives, and establishing metrics to monitor student engagement and program impact.
The coordinator will also serve as the primary contact for neurodivergent students, offering guidance and fostering an inclusive community.
Additionally, the coordinator will collaborate across the university with staff, student representatives, and external organizations to identify and reduce systemic barriers to participation; co-design services, establish referral pathways, and advocate for neuro-affirming best practices.
Design and deliver training and resources for both staff and students to increase understanding of neurodivergence and improve inclusive practices. Oversee day-to-day hub operations, including budgeting, reporting, and supervising placement students and volunteers.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A tertiary qualification in psychology, education, social work, or a related field, with at least four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of neurodivergent experiences (e.g., autism, ADHD, dyslexia) and the ability to apply neuro-affirming, person-centred approaches in a support setting.
- Proven experience in developing, coordinating, and evaluating support programs, workshops, or student-led initiatives, with the ability to lead projects and manage competing priorities.
- High-level communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills; ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders to improve programs and services.
