The Head of Special Education Services is a critical role that champions an inclusive culture and implements practices that ensure equity and excellence for students with disabilities.
This senior leadership position requires a passionate and experienced educational leader to foster a school environment where all students feel supported, valued, and empowered to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the delivery of high-quality special education services across the school.
- Collaborate with staff, families, and external agencies to develop and implement inclusive practices.
- Support and mentor teachers to differentiate curriculum and instruction for diverse learning needs.
- Use data to drive individualized planning and school-wide improvement in student achievement and engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in special education and inclusive practices.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
