Hotel Operations Executive

LUXXE Outsourced Hotel Services is seeking an exceptional Hotel Operations Executive to oversee the daily operations of our multi-site Housekeeping departments in Adelaide.
The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience.

Job DescriptionThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced professional to lead our Housekeeping teams in achieving operational excellence. As Hotel Operations Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing effective operational plans to meet client service standards and company requirements;
- Overseeing the management of Housekeeping departments, including budgeting, forecasting, productivity tracking, and labour reporting;
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations and maintaining a safe working environment;
- Liaising with the Housekeeping Manager to achieve departmental objectives and provide support where needed;
- Leading by example, promoting a positive work culture, and fostering open communication among team members.
You will need to possess excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience in multi-site management and a background in Rooms Division or Housekeeping would be highly advantageous.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities will include:
- Determining the most efficient ways for each Housekeeping department to operate;
- Overseeing housekeeping management, ensuring that the company has the necessary equipment and procedures in place to deliver exceptional guest experiences;
- Working closely with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure that budgets are met and maintained through effective planning, forecasting, and resource allocation;
- Coordinating WHS initiatives, including training, toolbox talks, and regular audits to maintain a safe working environment;
- Implementing new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness;
- Managing and resolving conflicts or issues arising within the team or between departments.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in hospitality, business administration, or a related field;
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in hotel operations, preferably in a senior management position;
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving operational excellence;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and tactically;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to workload and priorities.
