Capital Grants Management and Improvement

The role focuses on enhancing capital grants administration, overseeing the delivery of school infrastructure across Queensland. A key team member will collaborate with stakeholders to assess, develop, and refine capital grants processes.

This position demands experience in program or grants management, facilitating ideas through to investment recommendations. The successful candidate will lead business improvement activities, provide expert advice on methodologies and metrics, administer and monitor priority program frameworks, and oversee contract and financial management activities.

  • Analyse and evaluate grant management practices, processes, tools, and resources to drive business improvements.
  • Offer high-level guidance to internal and external stakeholders and client groups.

The ideal candidate will possess strong engagement skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to translate ideas into actionable recommendations.

This is an opportunity to join the Infrastructure Services Division and contribute to strategic advice, program management, and administration services ensuring outcomes align with objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct policy reviews and implement changes to assessment criteria.
  • Oversight of Go for Gold non-state schools, including risk management, regional engagement, and reporting.
