
Senior Property Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Property Officer to join our team.
This is a key role that involves strategic management of land acquisitions and providing property advice to staff and departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with property transactions, reviewing and assessing developer land dedications, negotiating easements, and managing customer enquiries related to the property portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Land Economics, Real Estate, or a related field, and demonstrated experience working in land acquisition matters. They will also possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Property Transactions: Assist with property acquisitions and disposals for planning purposes, including infrastructure projects in existing and new release areas.
- Developer Land Dedications: Review, assess, negotiate and manage developer land dedications/transfers, preparing relevant correspondence and facilitating transactions.
- Easements: Review, assess and negotiate granting easements associated with infrastructure projects, preparing relevant correspondence and facilitating transactions.
- Customer Enquiries: Manage customer enquiries related to the property portfolio, providing prompt and effective solutions.
- Tertiary qualifications in Land Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working in land acquisition matters.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
