
Strategic Property Manager

This is a strategic management role that focuses on the Council's land acquisitions and provides property advice to staff and departments.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and infrastructure projects.
- Review, assess, and manage developer land dedications/transfers and easements associated with infrastructure projects.
- Manage Road Closure & Sale applications and provide advice on Pre-Lodgement requests dealing with land acquisition items.
- Project Manage specific property-related projects.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders for property contracts, leases, and licenses.
- Tertiary qualifications in Land Economics, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
- Current Class C driver's license.
- Experience working in land acquisition matters.
- Knowledge of land acquisitions and valuation under the provisions of the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act.
- Experience negotiating agreements, facilitating easements and road closures, and managing customer enquiries.
- Project Management experience with the ability to prepare detailed property reports.
- Proficiency in computer software applications, including Word, Excel, and property-related databases.
