Job Opportunity: Manager Community Inclusion
We are seeking a strategic leader to drive community development initiatives and programs aimed at increasing inclusion, reducing loneliness and isolation, creating a welcoming city, volunteer and grants programs, and housing, homelessness, and indigenous programs.

About The RoleThe Community Wellbeing and Inclusion Division is looking for a manager with strong social policy experience and exposure to developing inclusive local community programs and initiatives.
This leader will report to the General Manager, Community Wellbeing and Inclusion, leading the department responsible for running and supporting community development initiatives and programs.
Ideal candidates will have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage, negotiate, advocate, and influence a broad range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain relationships with the community, as well as the community sector and government agencies.
- Develop and lead community development and inclusion programs and initiatives.
- Manage the implementation of housing and homelessness responses.
- Lead effective Integrated Community Service Planning and Review.
- Undertake the role of Deputy Municipal Emergency Manager Officer (Deputy MEMO).
- Lead, mentor, and develop your team.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or substantial and significant relevant industry experience.
- Strong social policy development and implementation experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, drive change, and implement innovative solutions.
