The Role

As a disability support worker, you will assist a participant based in Tongala, VIC. The focus of this role is on community engagement and building confidence and independence through positive social experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate access to community events and social outings
  • Encourage confidence, communication, and community participation
  • Support the participant to engage in activities that match their interests
  • Promote independence and emotional well-being
  • Communicate regularly with the Beyond Health Services team

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, reliable, and able to build rapport easily
  • Possionate about inclusion and community involvement
  • Able to maintain clear professional boundaries
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative

Requirements:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • ABN (for contractors)
  • Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
