About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Partner to join our team at Rest, a leading superannuation fund. As a key member of our People Partnering & Advisory team, you will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of our people strategy to enable business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Strategic Talent Initiatives: Develop and implement talent strategies, processes, and procedures to deliver strategic objectives, including attraction, selection, and retention of top talent.
  • Provide Expert Advice and Coaching: Offer responsive advice, support, and coaching to leaders on policy matters related to workforce management, recruitment, talent development, engagement, performance, and reward.
  • Partner with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with P&C Centres of Excellence to ensure a coordinated approach to implementing agreed projects and initiatives.
  • Share Data and Insights: Provide data and people insights to leadership teams to inform business decisions.
  • Participate in Committee and Team Meetings: Engage in committee, team, and cross-functional meetings to stay informed and contribute to decision-making.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience: Possess qualifications in human resources management or equivalent demonstrated experience. Previous experience working in the Financial Services industry is highly desirable.
  • Business Acumen and Leadership: Demonstrate ability to effectively challenge people, situations, and current thinking, and provide real-time, constructive feedback.
  • People and Culture Expertise: Showcase experience in People & Culture functions, including business partnering, coaching and mentoring, change management, employee relations, talent strategy, culture strategy, performance management, and remuneration.
