Head of Corporate Affairs

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as the Head of Corporate Affairs. This is a senior corporate communication role that will play a crucial part in building our reputation and image through effective communication and engagement programs with stakeholders from industry, government, and community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading the implementation of a comprehensive corporate communication strategy to promote our mission, achievements, and major initiatives. This will involve working closely with senior executives across the university and managing a committed and passionate team.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with 15+ years' experience in communication and corporate affairs roles, demonstrating the ability to lead and execute integrated corporate communication strategies that align with an organisation's priorities. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential, as is extensive experience in proactively managing reputational issues and mitigating risks.
In addition, you will be adept at problem-solving under tight deadlines, ensuring high-quality work and providing strategic advice. Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and advisory skills are crucial, particularly in collaborating with senior leaders to gain support for new initiatives and approaches.
