We are currently expanding our ESG Business Development team to support our Convene ESG Software, and we seek a highly skilled individual to join us as a Business Development Manager - Growth Leader.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves driving business growth, building key customer relationships, and negotiating and closing deals. As a Business Development Manager - Growth Leader, you will be responsible for managing pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, bid preparation, and sales pipeline management.

You will also play a crucial role in delivering customer presentations, proposals, and updates on sales leads to Senior Management. Your ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a Sales Pipeline, pursuing sales leads and prospective clients within our CRM system.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to expand our network and establish partnerships.
  • Deliver engaging customer presentations and negotiate and close business deals.
  • Maintain awareness of legislation and best practices related to ESG and sustainability reporting.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable sales experience, with a proven track record of driving business growth.
  • Experience in demonstrating products to potential clients, including C-Suite representatives.
  • A strong understanding of the ESG landscape and sustainability reporting requirements.
  • An MBA or degree-level education.
  • At least 3 years of experience in selling software/technology to corporate executives.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
