Job Description:

A challenging and rewarding role awaits you as an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist at IPAR. Your primary focus will be on providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with various conditions, both physical and psychological, and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

  • You will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day, with the support of a strong, close team of driven and energetic healthcare professionals and a global corporate infrastructure.
  • As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs, working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals.
  • You will also assist those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes, completing assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment, and identify suitable employment opportunities.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences, or Rehabilitation Counselling;
  • General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors ASORC;
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication skills and ability to get to know clients and stakeholders;
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy, with well-developed time management skills.
Benefits:

Salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum

A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance required.
