We are seeking a highly skilled Wellbeing and Performance Case Manager to join our team. As a central agency of the Australian Government, we play a pivotal role in delivering outcomes across diverse policy areas.
The Human Resources Branch delivers strategic and operational services across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, work health and safety, and workplace rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide case management services for employees, including early intervention, injury management, and performance support.
- Deliver practical advice on legislative, regulatory, and procedural matters relating to wellbeing and performance.
- Partner with business areas to implement strategies promoting sustained performance improvement using APS Work Level Standards and the Integrated Leadership System.
- Contribute to the management and improvement of the Rehabilitation Management System (RMS) and organisational wellbeing initiatives.
- Participate in professional development to strengthen capacity to navigate challenging conversations.
- Promote a safe, ethical, and respectful workplace aligned with APS Values and the APS Code of Conduct.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in early intervention, rehabilitation, performance case management, or work health and safety.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including WHS Act 2011, Public Service Act 1999, SRC Act 1988, and APS Commissioner's Directions 2022.
- High-level communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
