Job Overview

This role plays a crucial part in supporting the Front Office Manager, ensuring seamless and welcoming interactions with all visitors.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily front office operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest services.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the front office team to deliver outstanding service.
  • Assist with rostering, shift management, and guarantee adequate coverage at all times.
  • Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and care.
  • Maintain compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Support the Front Office Manager in achieving departmental goals and key performance targets.
  • Ensure strong communication and coordination with other hotel departments.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a front office or supervisory position within hospitality is highly valued.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a hands-on approach are essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are required.
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems (Opera experience is advantageous).
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, is necessary.
