About the Role
This position is responsible for leading a team of investigators focused on internal integrity and conduct matters related to employees and staff. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in investigations, proven leadership and team management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of investigators to conduct balanced, professional investigations in line with government policies and legislation.
- Provide specialist advice to the Director Integrity on integrity risks and enhance internal governance and integrity processes.
- Undertake complex investigations, both administrative and criminal, ensuring compliance with Australian Government requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Government (Fraud Control and Investigations) or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of relevant policies, legislation, and integrity frameworks.
Benefits
