Job Summary

Macropus Global is seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day activities on our construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage job site coordination, including scheduling, resource allocation, and conflict resolution.
  • Establish and implement methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other subcontractors.
  • Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Manage construction sub-trades and suppliers, mitigating issues as they arise.
  • Requisition materials and supplies, ensuring that the site is well-stocked and equipped.
  • Train workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including hirings and promotions.
  • Prepare work progress reports, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • May manage the operations of the company, overseeing multiple projects and teams.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of site supervisory experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in siding, flooring, painting, concrete finishing, or carpentry.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Hardworking and self-motivated.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Team player and positive motivator.
  • Safety conscious.
  • Job site preparation and organization.
