About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Manager to join our team at Simonds Homes. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of home builds from site start through to the final inspection and maintenance stage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage trades, establish a reliable trade base
  • Build strong and ongoing working relationships with clients, trades, and key stakeholders
  • Ensure correct building practices and procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Ensure quality homes are built within set time frames and budgeted guidelines
  • Enforce and adhere to OH&S regulations
  • Day-to-day management of trades on site, suppliers, completion of paperwork, and other admin tasks
  • Weekly KPI reporting
Requirements
  • Experience supervising residential home builds, residential construction experience, and/or a strong trade background
  • A thorough understanding of Australian building regulations, WHSE regulations, and Quality Assurance (QA) systems
  • Hold a valid driver's license
  • Solid project management skills, including experience in managing and developing a trade network
  • Able to effectively communicate with a diverse customer group, including what it means to deliver excellent customer service
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong IT/administration skills
