Job Title: Freight Dispatcher

Job Description

This role entails coordinating the transportation of goods, preparing freight for dispatch, and creating schedules for drivers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Scanning and dispatching freight in a timely manner
  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling of cargo
  • Collaborating with management to modify routes and accommodate customer needs
  • Monitoring daily driver logs for errors, violations, working hours, and equipment availability
  • Processing export and import shipments efficiently

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years of experience in warehousing or logistics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A current forklift license or willingness to obtain one
  • A certificate in Warehousing & Distribution or experience in 3PL warehouse and freight forwarding
  • The ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks
