General Manager Asset Protection in Sydney

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management and daily operation of the Asset Protection function, ensuring operations are conducted in accordance with the highest standards.
  • Formulate measures to enhance protection of Echo Entertainment Group's assets and prevent and detect criminal, illegal, and undesirable activity.
  • Develop strategies and operational practices to reduce violent incidents and operational breaches, including RSA and minors.
  • Ensure emergency management protocols and Asset Protection management are cognisant of their roles and responsibilities during emergency management incidents and when the crisis management plan has been implemented.
  • Optimise the Asset Protection Department business plan, including an operating budget, labour levels, and resource requirements, balancing compliance and service.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in Security and management, preferably within the casino industry.
  • Understanding of laws as they relate to the organisation, in particular, Casino Control Act and regulations, NSW Liquor Act, Security Industry Act, and Crimes Act.
  • Ability to communicate and implement all statutory processes.
  • Experience in managing a large in-house and contract workforce.
  • Advanced Conflict Resolution and Incident Management.
