About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Director of Manufacturing to lead our proprietary electrodes manufacturing operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and scaling of our manufacturing capabilities using powder metallurgy technology.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee the manufacturing process for electrodes, from design to production, ensuring adherence to quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Set up and scale the manufacturing operations, including designing and optimizing manufacturing lines for semi-automatic production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing activities with business objectives.
• Develop and implement strategies for materials procurement, handling of hazardous materials, and compliance with hydrogen-related regulations.
• Provide strategic leadership and guidance on manufacturing operations, identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive experience in manufacturing operations, with a background in powdered technology and advanced materials.
• Proven track record of setting up manufacturing lines from scratch and scaling manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of powdered technology, material science, and mechanical design principles.
• Experience with semi-automatic manufacturing processes and hands-on experience on the production floor.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Ability to navigate operational challenges in a distributed team environment and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
