Position Overview
We are in search of a seasoned Director of Manufacturing to spearhead our electrode production operations. This position presents a remarkable opportunity to play a vital role in enhancing and expanding our manufacturing capabilities utilizing advanced powder metallurgy techniques. As a pivotal member of our organization, you will be tasked with establishing the manufacturing line from the ground up and overseeing both the operational and strategic facets of our production facility.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and manage the electrode manufacturing process, ensuring quality standards are met and regulatory compliance is maintained. Establish and scale manufacturing operations, including the design and optimization of production lines for semi-automated processes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including research and development and commercial divisions, to synchronize manufacturing efforts with overall business goals. Tackle operational challenges arising from our distributed team structure, implementing effective strategies to enhance efficiency and communication. Formulate and execute strategies for material procurement, hazardous material management, and adherence to hydrogen-related regulations. Provide strategic oversight and direction for manufacturing operations, identifying avenues for process enhancement and innovation.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree is preferred. Significant experience in manufacturing operations, particularly in powdered technology and advanced materials. Proven success in establishing manufacturing lines from inception and scaling production operations. Strong knowledge of powdered technology, material science, and mechanical design principles. Familiarity with semi-automated manufacturing processes and practical experience on the production floor. Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with a knack for effective collaboration across diverse teams. Strategic thinker capable of developing and implementing manufacturing strategies that align with business objectives.
