About the Role

At Signature Care Operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wellbeing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our wellbeing team, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering engaging programmes that promote the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of our residents.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of older adults, and who has experience in delivering varied aged care resident wellbeing programs. If you are a creative and caring individual who enjoys working with people, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging wellbeing programmes that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the wellbeing team to achieve outstanding resident outcomes
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify resident strengths, needs, and preferences
  • Cultivate strong relationships with residents, their families, and carers to ensure seamless communication and support
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Certificate IV or Diploma in Lifestyle and Leisure or equivalent, or Cert III or IV in Aged Care with significant demonstrated wellbeing experience
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar position as a Wellbeing (Lifestyle) Assistant in Aged Care
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, high level of empathy and understanding of ageing and disability issues
  • Certifications: Current First Aid Certificate and CPR, fully approved Covid-19 vaccinated, National Police Record check less than 12 months old

Estimated Salary

$65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
