Hardware System AdministratorJob Summary:

This is a challenging and dynamic role for a Hardware System Maintainer to support the client's requirements by troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in hardware diagnostics, repair, and replacement activities.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and technical components to understand incidents or problems.
  • Conduct research using internal and external knowledge databases.
  • Facilitate technical communications between operations and development staff.
  • Distribute defect reports and system data collected during anomaly investigations.
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance activities, perform upgrades, and support the transition and acceptance of new systems.
  • Analyze customer issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist with property and asset management.
  • Monitor and update system tickets.
  • Conduct site visits to identify issues with supported hardware and equipment.
Requirements:
  • TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
  • BA degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience, or Masters with less than 2 years of experience, or 4+ years of experience.
  • Current certification applicable to the position.
  • Proven computer hardware and system troubleshooting skills.
  • System administration skills.
  • Ability to recognize and analyze problems, provide innovative solutions, and respond appropriately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds of equipment.
