Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and defining system architecture for new or existing computer systems, maintaining the organization's computer systems' workflows, and ensuring the reliable operation of computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems
  • Maintains an organization's computer systems' workflows and ensures the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems
  • Provides technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures
  • Troubleshoots moderately complex system hardware and software issues
  • Trains end users on the proper use of hardware and software
  • Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
  • Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levels
  • Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions
  • Ensures data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations
  • Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Extensive experience (20+ years) in IT is required. IAT Level II certification is also required.
