Job Title:

Expo and Showroom Event Manager

Role Overview:

This is a hands-on leadership position that combines strategy, operations, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the company's national Expo program.
  • Oversee logistics, freight, stand builds, and on-site operations.
  • Lead Melbourne showroom operations and design the customer journey.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of up to 20 staff members.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure aligned execution.
  • Track performance and report results.
  • Share market insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale events or retail activations.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, including managing permanent and casual staff.
  • Effective stakeholder management and negotiation skills with vendors and partners.
  • Data-driven approach, using insights to optimize performance and customer experience.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Airtable).
  • Calm under pressure, adaptable, and hands-on in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across levels.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and interest in the parenting category.
