National Events Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced events professional to lead our national Expo program and manage our Melbourne showroom operations.
Job DescriptionThis is a hands-on, mid–senior leadership role that combines strategy, operations, and people management. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of our national Expo program while managing our Melbourne showroom operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver our national Expo program
- Manage logistics, freight, stand builds, and on-site operations
- Lead Melbourne showroom operations and customer journey design
- Recruit, train, and manage up to 20 Expo and showroom staff
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align execution
- Manage project performance and report on results
- Share market insights to guide business decisions
The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading large-scale events, retail activations, or experiential programs. Strong leadership and coaching skills are essential, as well as excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills with vendors and partners.
Data-driven approach, using insights to optimise performance, attachment rates, and customer experience, is highly valued.
Familiarity with event or project management tools is beneficial, as well as calm under pressure, adaptability, and hands-on approach in fast-moving environments.
Availability to work weekends and travel interstate monthly is also essential.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading large-scale events or experiential programs
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
