We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist/Social Worker to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team within the Environmental Health Centre, Family Health & Development Team at Yorke and Northern Local Health Network, Port Pirie.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy and social work services to families of young children (aged 0-5 years) in understanding the issues around environmental lead and managing family member's blood lead levels.
- Work collaboratively with other health professionals to develop and implement strategies to improve health outcomes for pregnant women and children.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of programs to support the management of exposure risks to minimise blood lead levels within our target group.
Our allied health clinicians are leaders in understanding the issues around environmental lead and supporting the management of exposure risks to minimise blood lead levels within our target group.
What We Offer- Up to $13,000 reimbursement for relocation costs (e.g. for travel, removalists)
- 3 months free accommodation and subsidised rental accommodation for short term contracts (up to 1 year)
- Professional supervision within your discipline to support professional and clinical development
- Support in developing your career journey - whether you are an early career clinician or experienced leader, we can help
- Minimum of $2000 per year for professional development and training (can include registrations, travel and accommodation)
- A Transition to Professional Practice Program to support allied health professionals new to rural and remote practice in their first year of practice in a rural setting
