Key Job Details

The role of Learning and Development Specialist involves designing, implementing, and managing engaging learning programs to support workforce development and career growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop digital, face-to-face, and blended learning solutions using Articulate 360 or equivalent tools.
  • Deliver interactive and practical training sessions tailored to business needs.
  • Manage the delivery, content, and reporting of organisational training compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop compliance-related training materials, ensuring they are up-to-date and targeted effectively.
  • Oversee the use of Centurion's Organisational Training Matrix, including capturing requirements, developing content, allocating training to staff, and reporting outcomes back to stakeholders.
  • Partner with HSEQ, Compliance, Operations, and subject matter experts to ensure training is relevant, practical, and suitable for operational environments.
  • Report on compliance training completion through dashboards and maintain accurate records for audits or regulatory requirements.
  • Support onboarding and induction programs to facilitate new employee integration.
  • Monitor and report on training participation and completion rates through Elmo LMS, addressing any gaps in engagement.
  • Maintain accurate training records and manage learning content and enrolments within Elmo LMS.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training through feedback and performance data, recommending improvements.

For this role, we seek a skilled professional with experience in learning design and delivery, strong facilitation and presentation skills, excellent organisational and project management abilities, and effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills. A background in conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify and prioritise learning requirements is also desirable.
